REAL ESTATE TRANSFER FEE IS IN DANGER!
The Real Estate Transfer Fee (RETF), a major component of the Affordable Homes Act and a core element of our housing justice campaign, is under intense opposition from the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB). They have begun a robust phone and texting campaign in an effort to sink the RETF this session. They believe that organized money is powerful enough to sway our legislators in the midst of this historic housing crisis, and we cannot let them win. Use the link below to get in touch with your State Representatives via phone and email and urge them to protect this funding tool. Once you've completed your outreach, fill out the form so that we can track our progress.
