GBIO Joins Metro Industrial Areas Foundation Campaign to Re-instate Usury Laws
Wed., July 22, 10:00 am — GBIO joined with Metro Industrial Areas Foundation organizations across the East Coast, Mid West and London to launch a campaign to re-instate usury laws.  More than fifty GBIO leaders gathered outside the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston to demand a meeting with Eric Rosengren, the head of the Bank.  We then marched to Bank of America’s Boston headquarters to demand a similar meeting with Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis. Since the action, Mr. Rosengren has agreed to a meeting with GBIO’s top leadership in September.
