1200 Muslim Leaders in Partnership with GBIO Receive Commitment on GBIO Anti-Usury Campaign from Governor Patrick
On May 22, 2010, a diverse and unified Massachusetts Muslim community - led by GBIO member Muslim American Society Boston - strengthened its partnership with GBIO on its Anti-Usury Campaign. At the Muslim community's action with the Governor, GBIO President Reverend Hurmon Hamilton and Mosque of the Praising of God Leader Kenneth Finn received a commitment from Governor Deval Patrick that he would work with us to target banks that ignore our state's usury cap laws.
